What leases are involved when renting to an individual versus a company?

When a company provides accommodations for its employees, it is subject to the provisions of Articles 1709 et seq. of the Civil Code. The leased housing is therefore a secondary residence for the company. The corporate lease, which is more flexible and less binding, can be for a term ranging from one month to a year or more, depending on the needs of the business. Unlike the classic lease, the employee is not a tenant of the apartment but a subtenant, as it is the company that takes on the role of tenant.
