In 1831, the two obelisks, which are situated between the entrance and the palace of Ramses II in Luxor, were given to France by the viceroy of Egypt. When the first one arrived in Paris in December 1833, Louis-Philippe I decided to erect it on the Place de la Concorde. This latter is located in Paris's 8th district, home to upper-crust establishments such as Maxim's restaurant and where we offer high-quality properties for you and your family.
