A mixed religious and cultural district within the surrounding area

Notre-Dame-de-Lorette is still marked by the presence of its 19th century churches. To the west, the Eglise de la Trinité with its balustrade, is typical of the Second Empire. Notre-Dame-de-Lorette is built in the neoclassical style, fairly austere on the outside but very ornate in its neo-baroque style inside. Further on, don't miss the Musée de la Vie Romantique and Victor Hugo's house. The walk also leads to Place Gustave Toudouze or the hotels on Rue Victor Massé. Place Saint-Georges and its central fountain are also worth a look.

A neighborhood within a neighborhood

Nouvelle Athènes was created in response to the rapid growth of the population. Alongside these buildings stands the Musée Gustave Moreau, where paintings by the artist considered to be the father of Fauvism, are exhibited. In the heart of the neighborhood, people exploring Paris love to follow the vaulted passageways of Rue Taitbout.

If it's nightlife you're looking for, the neighborhood has the Casino de Paris with its Art Nouveau facade, a concert hall where Mistinguett and Joséphine Baker performed and which still puts on various shows.

Notre-Dame-de-Lorette is served by metro line 12 at the Trinité-d’Estienne d’Orves, Notre-Dame de-Lorette, Saint-Georges stops, as well as at Pigalle where there is a connection to line 2. For shopping, there are quite a few local food shops, such as butchers and bakeries. Most of the supermarkets are on the main roads.
