Saint Germain, Saint Michel, Quartier Latin

The student district

Until May 1968, the Latin Quarter was the student quarter. After the student riots of that year, most universities moved to the outskirts of Paris. Now this district is a popular tourist area, with most of the activities concentrated around the pedestrian street Rue de La Huchette.

A touristic and fashionable district

Stroll up the Boulevard Saint-Michel, walk past the Hôtel de Cluny and the Thermes de Cluny. Then take Rue des Ecoles for a glimpse at the Sorbonne and the Collège de France. Continue on the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève, a hill which hosts various monuments. The Latin Quarter is one of the most popular tourist areas, as well as a great market and shopping district. It boasts many famous shops and cafés, such as the well-known Café Flore. To let you enjoy this great fashionable neighborhood, Paris Attitude has concentrated its rental apartments here.
