| | This beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable Bastille Alcove Studio was home for our PERFECT week in Paris. The apartment is much better than what pictures show! Owners are extremely warm and welcoming. The area is quiet, but just around the corner of bustling Bastille Plaza, safe area too. Easily accessible, just 2 blocks away from the Metro - but still in close proximity to all the sights (we were able to walk to Notre Dame!). Grocery, tabac, and bakery just outside the apartment. Lots of bistros, cafes and restaurants around. Street market twice during the week for fresh produce, meat, delicacies. Additional things that were in the apartment (not included in the listing): iron and ironing board, hairdryer, CD player (bring your CD’s), books. Would stay here on our next trip to Paris. We highly recommend this apartment! | |

| | This was a wonderful apartment for our week in Paris . The sofa-bed was comfortable for our daughters, the kitchen and bathroom were modern and clean, the espresso machine was a luxury, and the sunny windows onto the garden made it light and airy. The location is also great: It’s on a charming and quiet street just a few minutes from the Eiffel Tower, Rue Cler shopping, and the Ecole Militaire metro stop, to get you anywhere in Paris with ease. | |

| | The location of this apartment is amazing! On a quiet pedestrian alley, just two blocks from the boulangeries, fromageries, patisseries..etc., of rue Montorgueil, a foodie s delight. Close to the Metro, and with several little bars nearby. If you are tall, you ll need to be aware of the many low corners and angles to the ceiling, but it s well worth the occasional ducking required. The owner, Catherine, was very helpful settling us in and was prompt with response to questions during our stay. We recommend it to anybody who would like to be close to the center of the city but with a neighborhood feel. | |

| | Absolutely a gem. Jacques was a pleasure to work with. The apartment is in a PERFECT location in Paris. We couldn t have been luckier. Rue Montorgueil around the corner is just everything you would imagine Paris to be. Do try the strawberries at Le Palais du Fruit, simply the best. Try Boulangerie Collet on 100, Rue Montorgueil. In the apt. we didn t use the washing machine. We were promised internet connection but kind of "borrowed" someone else s wifi. Everything else was just perfect. The apartment was like brand new, with absolutely no nighttime noise from neighbors. Only bad experience was with the cab driver on our last day there, he took us for a ride . I should have known better, it can happen in any major city. Recommendation, buy a map of the city when you get to Paris, it is indispensible. Prior to our trip i printed a lot of maps off of google, but the purchase of the Paris map on my wife s suggestion was essential. She s always right you know. If you re taking the RER from CDG, the way to tell if your train is the one that is approaching is to look for the illuminated light next to your destination. it wasn t so obvious to us. Cheers
